About Fort Resort Beemster
Fort Resort Beemster is a luxury eco-chic wellness resort. We are located in the UNESCO monument Fort aan de Nekkerweg. The fort, which used to house soldiers, has been transformed into a unique Spa & Wellness center, a hotel with 16 luxury rooms & suites, two restaurants (the Poterne restaurant and the wellness restaurant), and a hall with a unique lounge terrace for weddings, meetings, and parties.

What kind of manager are we looking for?
As General Manager, you are ultimately responsible for the overall business operations, financial results, and ultimate guest experience at Fort Resort Beemster. You are the figurehead of the organization and lead the management team. Together with the board, you determine the vision and strategy and translate these into excellent operations. You create a culture of hospitality, safety, quality, and continuous improvement. You combine strategic leadership with visibility on the work floor and a keen eye for detail, efficiency, and atmosphere.

What we ask
Duties & responsibilities
· Final responsibility for operations, returns, and budgets
· Managing the management team and staff functions
· Developing and implementing policy, vision, and strategy
· Optimizing processes, quality, and productivity
· Ensuring hospitality, safety, and compliance
· Final responsibility for HR and organizational development
· Supplier management and major contracts
· Initiating innovation and concept development
Profile
· At least 5 years of experience in a management role with final responsibility within hospitality or leisure
· Strong strategic skills with operational execution power
· Flexible availability (weekends/holidays)
What we offer
· Full-time (38 hours, flexible)
· Salary €5,853 – €7,919 gross per month (including overtime)
· Significant strategic freedom and impact in a high-end resort environment
· 25 vacation days (on a full-time basis)
