A unique location

Near Amsterdam in the green Beemster stands the Fort along Nekkerweg: a Unesco World Heritage Site. In 2012, the authentic fort was rebuilt into Fort Resort Beemster.

With two unique meeting rooms, a lounge terrace, gourmet cuisine and overnight accommodations, we are an ideal location for (multi-day) meetings, team days and brainstorming sessions.
Companies can also come to us for a party night, drinks or reception.

We have several rooms to suit any party.

The Fort room is bright, spacious and special because of its authentic fort wall. This room is also adjacent to the Poterne lounge terrace. Between the green fort dikes, this terrace gives you the feeling of being away from it all. With cozy seats, a piece of beach, outdoor bar and kitchen, this terrace is a unique place for a private party, drinks or barbecue.

If you are with a smaller party or looking for a venue for private dining, the Poterne Room is a beautiful room, full of characteristic details of the old fort.

Culinary delights and overnight stays

The Poterne Restaurant is located in the heart of the Fort. Everything comes together here: history, tasteful decor, beautiful dishes, matching wines and high-level hospitality.
End your meeting in style with a culinary dinner. A space for private dining is also possible.

For two-day meeting arrangements, we have 16 hotel rooms. Soldiers used to defend Amsterdam from our fortress. Now these rooms have been transformed into luxurious rooms.
