About Fort Resort Beemster
Fort Resort Beemster is a luxury eco-chic wellness resort. We are located in the Unesco monument Fort on the Nekkerweg. The fort where soldiers used to be located has been transformed into a unique Spa& Wellness, a hotel with 16 luxury rooms & suites, two restaurants(the Poterne restaurant and the wellness restaurant) and a hall with unique lounge terrace for weddings, meetings and parties.

Your day as host/hostess
For the Poterne restaurant, we are looking for an enthusiastic host or hostess who thinks along with us and works to take our restaurant to the next level. You are able to work well in a team, but also independently.
During the day, you will prepare lunch and make preparations for the evening. You will replenish the wine stocks and ensure that the restaurant looks presentable.
You will be (jointly) responsible for balancing the cash register and closing the restaurant.
In addition, you will occasionally work in our wellness restaurant and may be assigned to banqueting for large parties.
What we ask
· A completed secondary or higher hotel school diploma
· Wine certificates are an advantage
· At least 3 years of experience in a fine dining restaurant
· You are enthusiastic, eager to learn, and presentable.
· You have a passion and knowledge for the profession.
· You have hospitality in your blood
· You have empathy and an eye for detail.
· You have a hands-on mentality
· You are flexible, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
