POTERNE recommended by MICHELIN

Our Chef Paul de Graaf and his team prepare daily fresh seasonal dishes with (h)honest local products from the beautiful Beemster polder and surroundings.

Our Poterne restaurant is recommended by the Michelin Guide. The Poterne restaurant can be visited separately from the wellness.

POTTERY RESTAURANT

In the heart of the fortress you will find the Poterne Restaurant. A special place with a unique ambiance. Here it is all about taste experience, lots of tasting and enjoying together.

The kitchen staff applies different flavors, textures, temperatures and colors to the most beautiful creations, which will surprise every time.

The basis of our cooking is classic French cuisine with application of modern trends. Eastern influences and working with seasonal products play an important role.

We partner with area businesses that strive for the same quality that the Fort envisions.

WELLNESS RESTAURANT

An attractive and warm restaurant with cozy lounge sofas around the fireplace inside and outside.

Enjoy a smoothie, our own Fortress herbal teas, healthy salads, a delicious lunch or a gourmet chef's surprise dinner.

No watching the clock, no reservations, just sit down and enjoy!

Poterne terrace

The authentic fort alley takes you to the idyllic Poterne terrace. Hidden between the green fort dikes, you immediately get the feeling of being away from it all.

Cozy seating areas, hammocks, beach, cozy fireplace, bar and outdoor kitchen make for an unforgettable time.

In the summer months, the bedouin tent provides extra comfort. Here it is nice to stay in the shade during a hot summer day or under the heat of the heaters during cooler summer evenings.
