Receptionist
You are the face of the Fort and give our guests a warm welcome. You will process reservations and be the first point of contact for our guests, both by phone and at the front desk.

Fort Resort Beemster is a luxury eco-chic wellness resort. We are located in the Unesco monument Fort on the Nekkerweg. The fort, which used to house soldiers, has been transformed into a unique Spa & Wellness, a hotel with 16 luxury rooms & suites, two restaurants (the Poterne restaurant and the wellness restaurant) and a hall with a unique lounge terrace for weddings, meetings and parties.

Your day as a receptionist
As a receptionist, you are the face of Fort Resort Beemster. You provide a warm welcome, but at the same time, you’re the one who keeps track of everything, solves problems, and ensures that our guests experience the quality and service we stand for.
You’ll welcome guests, process reservations, and answer questions at the front desk and over the phone. But your role goes beyond that. You have a knack for sensing what a guest needs, noticing when something isn’t going right, and taking action before a small problem turns into a major annoyance.
What we ask
- You have an MBO-level work and thinking ability; a hospitality-related degree is a plus.
- Experience in the hospitality industry or at the front desk of a hotel or wellness center is required
- You are sociable and presentable
- You are hospitable and service-oriented, but you also have the confidence to set clear boundaries when necessary
- You're good at making decisions and can keep a clear head even under pressure
- You have an eye for detail and a knack for sensing what a guest needs
- You are flexible in terms of your availability, including on weekends, holidays, and evenings
- You have a good command of Dutch; English is a given, and other languages are a plus
