Fort Resort Beemster is a luxury eco-chic wellness resort. We are located in the Unesco monument Fort on the Nekkerweg. The fort that used to house soldiers has been transformed into a unique Spa & Wellness, a hotel with 16 luxury rooms & suites, two restaurants (the Poterne restaurant and the wellness restaurant) and a hall with unique lounge terrace for weddings, meetings and parties.

What does your day as a breakfast cook look like?

En route through the polder, your workday begins. You are welcomed in an oasis of peace, by grazing cows and farmers on tractors, who cheerfully say hello to you. If you were secretly still in a morning mood, it has now disappeared.
At the heart of our Fort is the kitchen. The place where you ensure a great start to the day for our guests: a delicious breakfast. In our kitchen there is always something going on. That's why it's important that you can switch gears and work under time pressure. We are open to feedback and are curious to hear your creative ideas. You will be given every opportunity to develop and grow.
Yes, working on weekends and holidays is part of the job, but it means you will have other time off to enjoy yourself.
